The MATERIK wordmark

The Materik identity is the MATERIK wordmark, a drawn logotype. It is not type set in a font, so never rebuild it by typing the name: always place the supplied file. The look is minimal, black and white.

Versions

  • Black wordmark, for light backgrounds.
  • White wordmark, for dark backgrounds and photography.
  • Available on a solid background and on a transparent background.

Rules

  • Do not distort, stretch, or rotate the wordmark.
  • Do not change its color, add shadows, gradients, or other effects.
  • Keep clear space around it at least equal to the height of the letter M.
  • Place the white version only on areas dark enough to keep it readable.

The icon

A two-petal mark, built on a six-circle grid, sits alongside the wordmark without replacing it. It scales cleanly from favicon size up. The files below are cut from the Visual Identity 2026 artwork, so they are true vector, not a picture of the mark.

The mark is only ever Ink on a light ground or Paper on a dark one: no accent colour, no gradient, no outline. Use it on digital surfaces first: sites, this portal, decks, social. Hold off on packaging and physical products until the brand team confirms.
